Duwamish Alive! Kayak Cleanup — October 17

Join Duwamish Alive! on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time. Puget Soundkeeper and River Access Paddle Program offer kayak cleanup shifts at həʔapus Village Park & Shoreline Habitat, 4500 Duwamish Trail, Seattle, WA 98106.

The program offers 10 a.m.–noon and noon–2 p.m. shifts, each limited to 20 places. Reserve a place through the corresponding registration link on Puget Soundkeeper’s event page; the capacity is not a guarantee of current availability.
What to expect
Participants paddle the Duwamish, help collect litter and learn about the river’s history and habitat. The organizer says supplies and snacks are provided, with practical instructions sent two or three days before the event. Kayakers must complete the River Access Paddle Program waiver. Check the registration materials for participation requirements before booking.
