Port Angeles Maritime Festival
The Port Angeles Maritime Festival is a free, family-friendly waterfront weekend celebrating maritime heritage, careers and recreation on the Port Angeles waterfront. The main footprint is at the Port Angeles Boat Haven / Boathaven Marina with additional activities staged on City Pier and nearby waterfront sites.
When: Saturday–Sunday, June 6–7, 2026. Typical published hours are Saturday starting at 12:00 PM and Sunday activities running through the evening.
What to expect:
- Open-boat tours and static vessel displays
- Flounder / Flounder Pounder fishing derby (pre-registration may be required)
- Orca Bait Swim and family waterfront activities (competitive swim registration when offered)
- Maritime careers tent, industry exhibits and information from local shipyards, colleges and agencies
- Food trucks, local vendors, kids’ activities (scavenger hunt, face painting) and live music
Location: Port Angeles Boat Haven / Boathaven Marina — downtown Port Angeles waterfront. Expect the festival footprint along the marina, City Pier and adjacent waterfront areas.
Cost: Free to attend. Some activities or competitions (fishing derby, competitive swims, vendor food) may have separate fees or require advance registration.
