Join thousands of boat lovers for the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival — a three-day celebration of wooden boats, boatbuilding, maritime culture, music, hands-on activities, races, and family programming. The Festival is produced by Northwest Maritime and takes place at the Northwest Maritime campus and Historic Point Hudson Marina in Port Townsend, Washington.
- When: September 11–13, 2026. Public hours: Fri–Sat 9:00 AM–6:00 PM; Sun 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.
- Where: Northwest Maritime / Point Hudson Marina, Port Townsend, WA.
- What to expect: 300+ boats on land and water, presentations and workshops, races and sail-by, live music (main stage music to 11:30 PM Fri & Sat), exhibitors, food & drink, kids’ activities, and on-the-water opportunities.
- Tickets: Single-day and three-day passes required for general admission; kids 12 & under free when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Early-bird pricing available through June 1. (See ticket link for current pricing and purchase.)
- Accessibility & policies: Festival implements accessibility services and sustainability measures; pets are not allowed on Festival grounds (service animals only—check in at Will Call or Festival HQ).
