Help clean the Ship Canal trail at Trash or Treat on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 5:30–7 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time. Puget Soundkeeper and Surfrider Foundation organize this Halloween-themed volunteer outing, meeting at Puget Soundkeeper Office, 130 Nickerson Street, Suite 107, Seattle, WA 98109.

Cleanup and costumes

Volunteers collect debris from the trail to keep litter out of the Ship Canal. The program includes fall-themed treats and beverages, plus a costume contest for trash- or litter-themed outfits. The organizer welcomes all ages and pets.

Use Puget Soundkeeper’s event page to register and check current volunteer instructions. The published notice does not list an admission fee. It also mentions an optional gathering at Old Stove Ship Canal afterward; this calendar entry covers the 5:30–7 p.m. cleanup only.
